Lailathul Qadr-The Night of Power and Easy ways to maximize your Am'als.

Allhamdulillah! We have been blessed with the most virtuous night, the night of Power, The night in which the Book of Allah was revealed to Mankind.Lets make maximum use out of this blessed night to earn the soothing Mercy and Forgiveness of Allah. May Allah accept it from us. This blessed night of power gives so much importance that it has been made mention in the Qura'n:

"Lailatul Qadr is better than a thousand months” [Surah Al-Qadr] [97:3].

Subhanallah! Think for a moment. All the Amals you do on this single night is better than any act of worship you do for a thousand months. Allhamdulillah that Allah has blessed us with the opportunity to stand up in Prayer and devotion during this night of Power.

Don't leave room for regret during this blessed night, instead work hard on your Amals and strive hard to please Allah and earn His love, Isn't that what we all want?

Here are few ways to maximize your A'maals during this Blessed night:

1. Recite the Qur'an abundantly, for this is the night in which the Qura'n was gifted to us.

2. Devote yourself in prayer and seek forgiveness from Allah. Try your best to Allah's pleasure and ask of Him of whatever you need, Surely, there is no one better on whom you can depend on and ask for forgiveness but Allah, The most gracious and the most merciful.

Aisha (Ra) said: “I asked the Messenger of Allah: 'O Messenger of Allah, if I know what night is the night of Qadr, what should I say during it?' He said: 'Say: O Allah, You are pardoning and You love to pardon, so pardon me.' “

"Allahumma innaka 'afuwwun tuhibbul 'afwa fa'fu 'annee" (Ahmad, Ibn Majah, and Tirmidhi).

Abu Huraira narrated that the Messenger said: "Whoever stands (in prayer) in Laylatul Qadr while nourishing his faith with self-evaluation, expecting reward from Allah, will have all of his previous sins forgiven.” (Bukhari and Muslim).

3. Indulge in good and Sunnah acts.

The Prophet (ﷺ) said: “Whoever draws near to Allaah during it (Ramadaan) with a single characteristic from the characteristics of (voluntary) goodness, he is like whoever performs an obligatory act in other times. And whoever performs an obligatory act during it, he is like whoever performed seventy obligatory acts in other times.” – Sahih Ibn Khuzaymah, no. 1887.

4.Increase in Dhikr (Remembrance of Allah)

5. Pray all your Nafl Salaah

6.Read the Thafseer from the Qura'n

7. Ponder over the beautiful creations of Allah (swt).

8.Read the Books of Ahadeeth and the wonderful words spoken by the beloved lips of our Nabi (ﷺ)

A Muslim who loves to earn the love and endless Mercy of Allah would strive hard to completely devote himself in Amal and Ibaadath. Let us stay up late and do our utmost to please our Lord and earn His Blessings. May Allah give us the strength for it, Accept all our Deeds and Dua's, Protect us from the Fire of Jahannam and grant us all Jannathul Firdouse! Aameen! Do include me and our Muslim Ummah in your Dua's as well.
